Discussion on Cooperation Opportunities with the Education Department of Nalaikh District
Delegations from the Education Department of Nalaikh District and Laboratory Secondary School 119 visited GMIT and held a joint meeting with the Rector and staff. During the meeting, representatives from School 119 shared their goal of becoming a science-focused school and increasing the number of English language lessons. They highlighted the importance of supporting higher education institutions in these efforts.
The delegations also discussed ways to collaborate on strengthening teacher skills in these areas, improving the curriculum, and encouraging students’ interest in natural sciences.
As a result of the meeting, GMIT proposed creating a memorandum of cooperation with the Nalaikh District Education Department and School 119. This agreement would outline specific actions and initiatives. GMIT also emphasized the opportunity for teachers and students from Nalaikh District to participate in the university’s regularly held events, such as "Project Week," the Teachers' Symposium, the English Language Teachers’ Seminar, and Open Day. These events offer a platform for sharing knowledge and experiences.
