Academic partners of International
GMIT's founding universities, TU Bergakademie Freiberg and RWTH Aachen University, together with BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg, have made significant contributions to the development of academic programs. These institutions have offered strong support through teaching, collaborative research projects, funding for libraries and labs, expertise in curriculum design, quality evaluation, and administration. Furthermore, partnerships have been established with Martin-Luther University Halle-Wittenberg, THGA Bochum, HTW Dresden, Clausthal University of Technology, and Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences through Memoranda of Understanding. Academic partnerships have also commenced with the prestigious University of British Columbia (Canada), the University of Queensland (Australia), and four Korean institutions: Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology, Dongseo University, Korean Institute of Ceramic Engineering and Technology, Republic of Korea and University of Ulsan.
Furthermore, GMIT is hosting summer school in Germany at TU Bergakademie Freiberg. Additionally, we collaborate on yearly Final Study Project (FSP) with graduate students from the Darmstadt University of Technology (Germany) and the South Dakota School of Mines & Technology (USA).
GMIT's top-notch education, centered around the motto "German Expertise - Mongolian Talent," has drawn the interest of numerous global companies since its inception.
