GMIT Team Successfully Participates in Educational Events in Darkhan-Uul and Orkhon Provinces

The staff and students of the German-Mongolian Institute for Resources and Technology (GMIT) participated successfully in the "Career Choice" educational events held in Darkhan-Uul and Orkhon provinces on January 30 and 31, 2025.

These events aimed to help secondary school students and their parents learn more about the engineering profession and to provide useful information about higher education institutions. The GMIT team played an active role in the events by offering advice on how to choose a career, introducing bachelor’s and master’s study programs, explaining admission requirements, and sharing detailed information about STEM programs. Additionally, B. Enkhjin, a junior student at GMIT from Erdenet, shared his personal study experiences and engaged in an open discussion with the students.

During the events, Prof. Dr. B. Battsengel, GMIT Rector, and Kh. Zolzaya, Director of Mongol Oyu school, signed a Memorandum of Understanding.

Since many GMIT students from the region are graduates of both provinces, this was an important opportunity to introduce and promote the university in greater detail.
