GMIT's Learning Model Presented at the Asian University Presidents Forum
[2024.11.01] The 22nd Asian University Presidents Forum (AUPF) was held from October 30 to November 1 at Dongseo University, with representatives from 50 universities across 14 countries participating. The event brought together higher education leaders from across Asia to engage in vibrant discussions on the future of higher education.
The theme of the 2024 AUPF was "Strategic Alliances Among Asian Universities in Higher Education." During the forum, participants discussed concrete steps to establish a new framework for cross-border higher education. University leaders from across Asia also agreed on various cooperation programs to address the rapidly changing landscape of higher education.
In the session on "Exploring Innovative Learning Models in Higher Education", Prof. B. Battsengel, Rector of the German-Mongolian Institute for Resources and Technology (GMIT), presented the university’s innovative learning model. She shared insights into the approaches GMIT has implemented to enhance the student learning experience. During the event, Prof. Battsengel also signed a memorandum of cooperation with universities of Japan, Indonesia, China and Macao.
The mission of the Asian University Presidents Forum is to foster collaboration among Asian universities through the development of an open online education platform and the sharing of educational content.
