Transnational Higher Education Institutions Attend Forum in Germany

The forum titled "Creating Open Spaces: The Role of Transnational Education in Conflict and Crisis" took place in Germany on October 14 and 15, 2024. Organized by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), the event gathered Rectors of transnational universities and representatives from the higher education sector.

The conference focused on critical topics such as climate change, conflicts within political and economic systems, and international relations, highlighting the significant role of higher education in these areas.

During the event, Prof. B. Battsengel, Rector of the German-Mongolian Institute for Resources and Technology, delivered a speech discussing the university's development and successful implementation of initiatives. In addition, Prof. Battsengel, along with GMIT-GIZ project manager Sebastian Burghof, met with representatives from German-Kazakh University (DKU), Vietnam-German University (VDU), and the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) to discuss potential future cooperation. They exchanged ideas and explored opportunities for collaboration among the institutions.
