Ms. Deirdre Lingenfelder, Chief Executive Officer of "Oyu Tologi" LLC, Ms. Melissa Shanjengange, General Manager, People and Organisation, and other delegations visited German-Mongolian Institute for Resources and Technology and discussed with the University's management team and lecturers. During the presentation of GMIT, Ms. Lingenfelder emphasized that not only internship, research development, student scholarships, but also the parties can develop multilateral cooperation in the further.
The delegations discussed with students of the Student Clubs, and visited the laboratories and fitness hall etc. Furthermore, Ms. Lingenfelder presented an inspirational speech to the students of GMIT and Polytechnical College of Nalaih District, and shared her experience.
During the last few years, GMIT students and graduates get involved in the following programs. For example, 14 graduates on the New Graduate Program, 12 students on the Scholarship programs, 10 students on the Internship Program, 23 graduates are hired in Oyu Tolgoi and 24 graduates are working in contractor companies. Considering their gender ratio, 48 percent are female graduates and students.
