"ADRIANA MONGOL" project team discussed the project report
[October 20th, 2022] GMIT was invented a workshop of “ADRIANA MONGOL” project on October 20th, 2022. The delegates from G.E.O.S company, Martin Luther University of Halle from Germany and German – Mongolian Institute for Resources and Technology (GMIT) were joined in this meeting. Representatives from CBM and Dimap companies which are the partners too in the project were joined online. The results of all the partners were presented and discussed about future work on this meeting.
Dr. T. Narangarav presented the result of project implemented at GMIT and Dr. Rudolf Suppes from CBM presented the result of the project. Dr. Rene Kahnt from G.E.O.S and Dr. Cornelia from MLU were presented their results too. There were not only the results of the ADRIANA project discussed, but also some scientific presentations, namely, “CoreSmart” and “Geothermal investigation” by Dr. René Kahnt from G.E.O.S, “Remote sensing data in the mining cycle – from exploration to environmental monitoring” by Dr. Glaesser Cornelia from MLU and “GMIT activities in field of Mineral Processing” by Prof. Bayanmunkh from GMIT were presented.
After all the presentation, brainstorming was conducted for future research ideas. “ADRIANA MONGOL” is the part of German BMBF CLIENT II Collaborative Project ADRIANA which aims to estimate the potential of tailings as a deposit and the technical and economic feasibility of recovering the contained valuable materials.
