Professors and students of GMIT and THGA co-organized the Sharing Experience Online Event
The Academic and Student Affairs of the German- Mongolian Institute for Resources and Technology (GMIT) and students organized Sharing Experience Online Event with professors of the Technische Hochschule Georg Agricula Bochum (THGA) and introduced their university.
The TH Georg Agricola University (THGA) stands for tremendous practice-oriented engineering education. Founded as Bochum’s first mining school in 1816, more than 200 years of tradition pay into its unique features. In 2019, the universities signed an agreement to cooperate in the field of academics and research.
During the online event, Prof. Dr. L.Altangerel, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, and R.Nyamdulam, Acting Head of Academic and Student Affairs, made a general presentation of the GMIT and discussed opportunities for cooperation between the two universities. In addition, information about the scholarships, student clubs, extracurricular activities, and campus life provided by the students of GMIT, and discussed many topics.
Today, with a future-oriented emphasis on mineral resources engineering and post-mining, materials science, mechanical engineering and process engineering, information technology or smart energy, the THGA connects its traditional knowledge with a modern focus.
