A representative of Inner Mongolia University of Technology visited GMIT
Chao Lumen, the deputy director of the Department of Foreign Cooperation and Exchange at the Inner-Mongolia University of Technology and the School of Foreign Education in China, paid a visit to the German-Mongolian University for Resources and Technology with the aim of enhancing relations and fostering collaboration.
During his visit, Mr. Chao Lumen was warmly welcomed by GMIT Director B. Battsengel, along with other educators and experts. He was given a comprehensive tour of the school campus and was briefed on various educational activities. The discussions between the representatives of the two universities centered around potential areas of collaboration, including teaching and research, faculty-student exchange programs, and student recruitment. The parties also explored avenues for further expanding their cooperative efforts.
Established in 1958 with the backing of Tsinghua University to advance engineering education, Inner Mongolia University of Technology currently boasts a student body exceeding 28,000. This includes 22,700 undergraduate students, as well as approximately 5,100 pursuing master's and doctoral degrees.
