The GMIT was awarded with "Bloomberg TV Mongolia Awards 2023"
The "Bloomberg TV Mongolia Awards 2023" ceremony, which recognizes the best leaders in the fields of business, economy and finance, who made a real contribution to the development of Mongolia, was successfully organized on November 24, 2023. Bloomberg TV has been organizing the event since 2013, and it is a tradition to identify and reward the best leaders in each sector.
The German-Mongolian Instritute for Resources and Technology (GMIT) was recognized as one of the top 10 leaders and awarded with the "Best Educational Organization of 2023".
In 2013, the governments of Mongolia and the Federal Republic of Germany jointly established this youngest state-owned university of Mongolia, due to the demand for highly qualified engineers in the mineral sector. The university successfully implements learnings, research projects, human resources empowerment, student exchange and internship programs within the framework of cooperation with partner universities along with the business organizations in Germany, aiming to introduce international scientific experience and modern academic standards to Mongolia.
Furthermore, according to the methodology of the international ranking organization "Times Higher Education" by the Ministry of Education and Science, the Center for Educational Evaluation, and the Institute for Quality Research, GMIT is ranked sixth place among the top ten universities of Mongolia.
