"ADRIANA MONGOL" project team held a joint meeting at GMIT
German-Mongolian Institute for Resources and Technology was held a meeting of “ADRIANA MONGOL” project on August 22, 2022 at GMIT campus. Representatives of Society for Consulting, Business and Management mbH (CBM) from Germany and German-Mongolian Institute for Resources and Technology (GMIT) were discussed about the current process and result of research works are implemented at GMIT.
The “ADRIANA MONGOL” is one of the German BMBF CLIENT II Collaborative Project ADRIANA which aims to estimate the potential of tailings as a deposit and technical and economic feasibility of recovering the contained valuable materials.
On the research project ADRIANA, innovative remote sensing technology is being used in conjunction with the possibilities of 3D deposit modelling in order to harness the valuable material potential of an industrial setting basin. This is a settling basing for the deposition of residues from copper ore processing in Erdenet, Mongolia.
