“Social and Economic Impacts of COVID-19 on Women Working in the Artisanal and Small-Scale Mining Sector in Mongolia” project report to be discussed via online
Research project workshop on “Social and Economic Impacts of COVID-19 on Women Working in the Artisanal and Small-Scale Mining Sector” jointly implemented by the German-Mongolian Institute for Resources and Technology and the University of British Columbia, Canada will be held at 9:00-10:30 am on May 11, 2021, via online.
As part of the partnership, the universities submitted and supported a joint project in 2020, which was selected by the Extractives Global Programmatic Support (EGPS) of the World Bank. The project was successfully implemented in January 2021 under the theme “Social and Economic Impacts of COVID-19 on Women Working in the Artisanal and Small-Scale Mining Sector”.
