Join a Falling Walls Engage International Community & meet the greatest mind in science!
The Falling Walls ENGAGEx Ulaanbaatar international event on ‘The Future of Learning’ for science engager and outreach projects will take place on Friday 7 May, 3.00 – 6.00 PM (UBT)/ 9:00 – 12:00 AM (CEST) via Zoom, and co-organized by the Falling Walls Engage, in cooperation with the German-Mongolian Institute for Resources and Technology (GMIT), the Arts & Media Project Management & Consulting NGO (AMPMC) and Cultural Envoy of Mongolia in Germany, and supported by the official partners as the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in Mongolia, the German Corporation for International Cooperation (GIZ), and the International Network of Women Engineers and Scientists (INWES).
The virtual event will bring together Mongolian and international perspectives on Science Engagement through digital education – from exchange platforms to Virtual Reality and distance learning – with special contributions from INWES in India, Namibia, and the UK, UNICEF Mongolia, the National University of Mongolia (NUM) and GMIT.
Falling Walls Engage is the global platform for Science Engagement, hosted by the Falling Walls Foundation in cooperation with Robert Bosch Stiftung. The mission of Falling Walls Engage is to inspire and connect creative individuals who engage communities and actively involve the public in science to impact both sides all around the world. The platform facilitates discourse and commitments around Science Engagement activities, provides visibility to impactful initiatives, and creates opportunities for interdisciplinary and international exchange among practitioners and institutions. By advancing the idea of Science Engagement, Falling Walls Engage aims to diminish the gap between science and society, and strengthen the trust in and understanding of scientific findings to contribute to fact-based decision making and the overall wellbeing of our society.
Science Engagers who are willing to value their contribution to the socio-economic field with their research and initiatives are invited to participate in the Falling Walls ENGAGEx Ulaanbaatar international virtual event, and share their experiences in Science, Technology, Innovation, Society, and Education.
