From Global Standards to Local Action: Towards Sustainable Mining
Join us for a seminar at COP17!
As part of COP17 Ulaanbaatar 2026, a seminar will be held to discuss sustainable mining and the localization of international standards within the context of Mongolia’s mining sector.
The seminar will present the findings of a study on the factors influencing the implementation of the Towards Sustainable Mining (TSM) standard in Mongolia’s mining sector, as well as a guidebook developed based on the research findings. The seminar will also provide an opportunity to exchange views and experiences on how international sustainability standards can be effectively applied to the specific context of Mongolia’s mining industry.
