International Management of Resources and the Environment
The Master’s program provides knowledge in Business and Management with a dedicated focus on the natural resources and environmental protection. It is characterized by an interdisciplinary approach encompassing geosciences, ecology, mining engineering, law, economics, ﬁnance and management with emphasis on Mongolia but also including the international scope. The language of instruction is English. A substantial part of the modules are taught by lecturers from the German partner universities of GMIT.
Master of Business Administration (MBA)Duration:
Graduates will be suited for career opportunities in the resource sector, including mining, minerals processing, recycling, energy production and transformation but also in public administration (e.g. mining administrations, energy agencies), investment and ﬁnancial organizations, equipment manufacturers, suppliers, logistics companies and consultants.
Engineers and natural scientists, who wish to develop their managerial skills and gain expertise in resource and environmental management. The program can be pursued as executive program.
The tuition fee is 133.000 ₮ per credit point. Scholarships are available. Furthermore, we offer beneﬁts for companies whose employees are enrolled in the program. Students who wish to be enrolled for the complete semester (all five modules) are offered a 25% discount on tuition fees.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or the Natural Sciences
- English language proﬁciency, IELTS 6.5 or TOEFL (80 iBT); alternatively, applicants can take the GMIT English language exam
- Work experience is of advantage but not a requirement
