Head of Development Cooperation to Embassy of Germany visited at GMIT campus

GMIT campus (Nalaikh district), 23.01.2019 Johannes Schneider, Head of Development Cooperation to Embassy of Germany and Dr. Frank Wullkopf, Programme Director at GIZ visited at German-Mongolian Institute for Resources and Technology campus.

    The Rectorates of GMIT has welcomed Mr. Schneider and discussed the key activities that have taken place in the past and discussed further plans and cooperation. Rector of GMIT, Dr. Dorjderem.N provided information about its projects, programmes and highlighted the importance of the German Embassy's support to the project.

    Mr. Schneider, the newly appointed Head of Development Cooperation to Embassy of Germany, expressed his great pleasure to be present at the GMIT which was established under the cooperation of Mongolian and German governments. He expressed his willingness to work closely with this university.

      The third phase of the GMIT project will begin in June, 2019 and officially expand the campus. In addition, Master's programme with the Freiberg Technical University has been introduced and new Bachelor's programmes will launch in this year. Therefore, they highlighted that they will work closely with it and many projects.
