Our students took second place in the contest of chemical science
NUM, Ulaanbaatar, 21.02.2018 National competition “Who knows Chemistry best?” was held from Mongolian National University for the first time and continued for two months until on 20th of January. “Glück Auf”, a group represented GMIT that consisted from 6 members, successfully took the second place.
National competition “Who knows Chemistry best?” was held from Mongolian National University for the first time and continued for two months until on 20th of January. This competition run between four groups; one from German-Mongolian Institute for Resources and Technology, one from New Mongol Institute of Technology and two from Mongolian National University. “Glück Auf”, a group represented GMIT that consisted from 6 members M. Shine-Od 6th semester student, A. Ulziitogtoh, M. Beregkuli 4th semester students and G. Nandintsetseg, B. Oyunbat, Z.Tushig 2nd semester students successfully took the second place.
The competition had two main parts first part called “The Homework” and second “The quiz part”. The homework that was announced 45 days before the second part of competition to invent Universal Indicator paper using easily reachable products. About the quiz part-the second part, it held on 20th January with four subparts: homework checking, greetings from each group, work guessing and case analysis.
All 6 members of GMIT team consisted from engineering students which gave as numerous advantages such as: economical evaluation, eco-friendly packaging, engineering design, easy use for customers, future development strategy and so on.
About the product, students from GMIT AutoCad club helped on packaging by printing it with their 3D printer using eco-friendly material PLA, not only the students and the staffs of GMIT helped so much during busy moments so thanking letter from team “Glück Auf” announces here.
