GMIT student O.Ulziikhuu wins bronze medal in the National Chemistry Olympiad

Ulaanbaatar , 07.05.2017 For the second time O. Ulziikhuu, student of GMIT, achieved the third place in the National Chemistry Olympiad. The annual competition took place for the 28th time and was arranged in three main categories: general secondary school students, teachers and university students.

University student category was hosted by German-Mongolian Institute for Resources and Technology and about 70 students from GMIT, NUM, MUST, MNUMS, MULS, MNUE and NMIT participated in the Olympiad. From the scores of group “A”, S. Selengesuren (NUM) took the first place following with G. Nominzul, P. Ulziinyam (MNUMS) with the silver medals and the third place went to Kh. Batkhishig (NMIT),  D. Batmend (NUM), and O. Ulziikhuu (GMIT).  In the group “B”, the gold medal went to N. Dashnyam (NUM), M. Tegshbayar (MNUMS), R. Odnyam (NUM) with the second place and M.Tergel, B.Baljinnyam (MNUMS), D. Bazardagina (MUST) took bronze medals. MNUMS showed the highest results in total team scores. The award-giving ceremony took place at NUM.
