GMIT SYMPOSIUM ON ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCE AND ENGINEERING

GMIT`s Faculty of Engineering is planning to organize an international environmental conference on 31th of August to 1st of September, 2018.
Registration is open for the 1st GMIT Symposium on Environmental Science and Engineering, which will be held at GMIT Nalaikh. The symposium will bring together national and international experts from four fields: (1) Mining and the Environment; (2) Sustainable Forestry; (3) Integrated Water Resources Management (with the continuation on 2 August 2018) and (4) Air Pollution Monitoring and Control. Registration for the conference is open from now until 15 June 2018 (for participants with oral and poster presentations).

As application-oriented research institute GMIT's faculties are regularly organizing and hosting conferences for researcher, academics and industry partners.
120 environmental scientists from Europe, Africa, Asia, and America attended the “Symposium on Environmental Science and Engineering” at the German-Mongolian Institute for Resources and Technology (GMIT) in Nailakh district of Ulaanbaatar. The symposium put its focus on four fields: Mining and Environment, Sustainable Forestry and Environmental Remediation, Air Pollution, and Water Resources Management, with special focus on ‘basenet – Water Resources in the Lake Baikal-Selenge River Basin’.
