GMIT organizes continuing education program and urges faculties to develop various continuing education programs.
GMIT starts offering continuing professional development programs, partnering with experts from universities, industries, and government agencies of Mongolia, Germany and other countries.

- "Integrated Water Resources Management in Northern Mongolia: Finding from the Kharaa River Basin'' by Prof. Dr. Daniel Karthe, scientist at the Department Aquatic Ecosystem Analysis and Management, Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research, Magdeburg, Germany on Oct. 28, 2016 (facilitated by the Engineering and Natural Science Faculties, GMIT
- "Hybrid multilayered plasmonic nanostars for optical emission enhancements", by Dr. Battulga Munkhbat, the Institute of Applied Physics, Johannes Kepler University, Linz, Austria, on Nov. 15, 2016 (facilitated by the Engineering and Natural Science Faculties, GMIT)
- Intermediate and advanced level staff English designed for GMIT staff to improve their English speaking, reading, and listening skills.
